Valiant Bank CFO to become CEO in 2019

CFO and Deputy CEO Ewald Burgener will take on the CEO post at Valiant Bank AG after current CEO Markus Gygax steps down at the next general assembly to be held May 17, 2019.

Burgener has been CFO at Valiant for five and a half years and was chosen to replace Gygax after a four-month selection process, according to a company release.

The board of directors will decide on a CFO replacement in the coming months.
