AIM-listed ECRMinerals Plc said April 27 that it will advance its Avoca and Bailiestongold projects in Victoria, Australia, which its wholly owned subsidiary acquired in March.
At Avoca, ECR plans to complete a mineral resource estimate forhistorical waste dumps, which requires additional sampling. ECR will also conductmetallurgical testwork on dump samples, focusing on gravity recovery.
The company also plans an economic study of the proposed reprocessingof the dumps, setting out the capital requirements and projected returns from theoperation, as well as the timescale which would be required to reach production.
At Bailieston, plans include the completion of a rotary air blastpercussion or air-core drill program of up to 1,000 meters in June. Drilling willtest targets in the Byron and Black Cat areas.
