Atlantia Q3 profit falls YOY

Atlantia SpA said its normalized net income for the third quarter came to 40 euro cents per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of 43 cents per share.

EPS fell 7.3% year over year from 44 cents.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was €331.0 million, a decline of 7.1% from €356.4 million in the prior-year period.

Total revenue grew year over year to €1.51 billion from €1.46 billion, and total operating expenses increased from the prior-year period to €783.0 million from €763.0 million.

Reported net income grew 38.1% on an annual basis to €377.0 million, or 46 cents per share, from €273.0 million, or 33 cents per share.
