TBC Bank supervisory board chairman resigns

The board of JSC TBC Bank accepted the resignation of Jyrki Koskelo as chairman and supervisory board member on Aug. 13, effective immediately.

The bank had appointed Koskelo as a board member and chairman in May.

The parent group TBC Bank Group PLC appointed Nikoloz Enukidze as the chairman of the supervisory board of the bank under a new governance structure, dubbed mirror boards.

As a part of the governance structure, the nonexecutive members of the group's board and the supervisory board of JSC TBC Bank will be the same, chairman of the group will also serve as the chairman of bank, and senior independent director of the group will also be senior independent director of the bank.

Under mirror boards, Nicholas Haag, currently senior independent director of the group, will also serve as senior independent director of the bank and be a member of the bank's supervisory board.

Additionally, Arne Berggren has joined as an independent director of the group's board, effective immediately.
