British Airways cancels more flights as pilots set to hold new strike

International Consolidated Airlines Group SA's British Airways PLC is canceling flights scheduled for Sept. 27, when its pilots are set to hold another strike.

The airline said affected passengers can choose to either receive a full refund or have their tickets rebooked to another date or on another carrier. It did not disclose how many flights would be canceled as a result of the strike.

The British carrier had to cancel flights to and from London's Heathrow and Gatwick airports during a two-day strike this week by the British Airline Pilots Association over pay and benefits.

The pilots' union had earlier warned that they would push through with a second strike if they fail to reach an agreement with British Airways.
