Deutsche Bank names ex-Goldman Sachs exec for global equities role

Deutsche Bank AG named Peter Selman head of its global equities business, Financial News reported Nov. 28, citing "people familiar with the matter."

He will report to investment bank co-heads Marcus Schenck and Garth Ritchie and to Tom Patrick, whom he succeeds in the role. Patrick is leaving the global equities role to shift focus to leading the bank's Americas business, according to the report.

Selman previously worked at Goldman Sachs Group Inc., most recently as co-head of global equities trading and execution services, until retiring in September 2016, the news outlet added.
