Euronext Lisbon names new CEO

Euronext NV appointed Paulo Rodrigues da Silva CEO of Euronext Lisbon, CEO of Interbolsa and a member of the managing board of Euronext.

He will join Euronext in early March, pending shareholder and regulatory approvals. Rodrigues da Silva's previous experience includes serving as an executive board member of Caixa Geral de Depósitos SA and of Banco BPI SA.

He will replace Maria João Carioca Rodrigues, who took over the roles in 2016 but submitted her resignation in December 2016 to join the managing board of Caixa Geral.
