Several promoted at First National Bank Alaska

The board of First National Bank Alaska gave Chair Roxanna Lawer the additional title of CEO. It also promoted Doug Longacre to president and gave him a seat on the board.

The Anchorage, Alaska-based company moreover has several new executive vice presidents. Among them are former branch lending administrator Charlie Weimer, who was promoted to chief commercial lending officer, and David Stringer, special credits and participation loans division head.

Other new executive vice presidents are CFO Michele Schuh; Chief Information Officer Phil Griffin; Regional Manager Bill Renfrew; Cindi Buzitis, who was promoted to chief compliance officer; Cheri Gillian, who was elevated to chief administrative officer; and Chief Risk Officer Ryan Strong, who was also named chief banking officer.
