Johnson Controls grosses €991.3 million from debt offering

Johnson Controls International plc raised gross proceeds of €991.3 million from an offering of 1.00% senior unsubordinated unsecured notes due Sept. 15, 2023.

The company plans to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes or working capital, investment in securities, redemption or repayment of debt securities, acquisitions or investments, and repurchase of securities.

Barclays Bank PLC, Commerzbank AG, Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank SA, Danske Bank A/S, ING Bank NV and UniCredit Bank AG were the lead underwriters.

BBVA Securities Inc. and Standard Chartered Bank also served as underwriters for the offering.
