UK-based De La Rue appoints replacement for retiring chairman

De La Rue PLC named Kevin Loosemore a nonexecutive director and chairman-designate, effective Sept. 2.

Loosemore is chairman of software firm Micro Focus International PLC and a nonexecutive director of IRIS Software Group Ltd. He will takeover from incumbent chairman and nonexecutive director Philip Rogerson when Rogerson retires Oct. 1, having served in the post since 2012.

The U.K.-based banknote printer had earlier disclosed that Rogerson intends to retire shortly after the appointment of Martin Sutherland's successor as CEO.
