Deutsche Hypothekenbank issues debut sterling pfandbrief

Deutsche Hypothekenbank AG placed £325 million in its first sterling-denominated benchmark mortgage pfandbrief, a type of covered bond.

The floating-rate notes carry a coupon of 27 basis points above the three-month sterling London Interbank Offered Rate and have a three-year term. The issue price was set at 99.85%.

Deutsche Bank, HSBC, J.P. Morgan and TD Securitires served as joint lead managers. Nord/LB served as co-lead manager.
