Seylan Bank Plc declared a first and final ordinary dividend of 3.50 Sri Lankan rupees per share for the year ended Dec. 31, 2017, up from a dividend of 3.25 rupees per share in the year-ago period.
The full-year 2017 dividend consists of 1 rupee per share in the form of a cash dividend and 2.50 rupees per share in the form of a scrip dividend, the bank said March 5.
The dividend will be paid on or before April 10, subject to shareholder approval.
As of March 5, US$1 was equivalent to 154.95 Sri Lankan rupees.
