AIG issues $600M notes

American International Group Inc. issued $600 million of 4.250% notes due March 15, 2029.

Net proceeds before expenses would be about $595.6 million. The notes were priced at 99.718% for a yield to maturity of 4.285%, and have a spread of 168 basis points over their Treasury benchmark.

Barclays Capital Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and U.S. Bancorp Investments Inc. served as joint book-running managers. The senior co-managers were Credit Agricole Securities (USA) Inc., Mizuho Securities USA LLC, Natixis Securities Americas LLC, SMBC Nikko Securities America Inc. and UniCredit Capital Markets LLC. CastleOak Securities LP, Drexel Hamilton LLC, Loop Capital Markets LLC, Mischler Financial Group Inc. and Siebert Cisneros Shank & Co. LLC acted as co-managers.
