HSBC names global banking head for Australia

HSBC HoldingsPlc said April 12 that it appointed Hamish Kelly as head of globalbanking for Australia.

Kelly will take on the new role in addition to his existing positionas head of the financial institutions group in Australia.

Kelly succeeds Chris Russell, who is now CEO for the bank'sNew Zealand business.
