Eros Now signs Apple TV+ distribution deal

Over-the-top video platform Eros Now has cut a deal to bring its content to Apple TV+, shortly after Apple Inc. unveiled the streaming service, The Economic Times of India reported.

Under the companies' agreement, Eros International PLC's over-the-top platform will be available to all Apple users in 109 countries outside India, including in the U.S., U.K., Europe, Canada, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Africa, among others.

The service will be offered as part of a bundle subscription offering and can also be availed as a stand-alone service.

Prior to the distribution deal Eros Now struck with Apple, the South Asian video service also entered into agreements with various platforms globally, such as with Freesat (UK) Ltd., iQiyi Inc. and Xiaomi Corp.
