US FinCEN director to step down

Jennifer Shasky Calvery will step down as director of theU.S. Department of Treasury's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network at the endof May.

Calvery has held the position since September 2012.

Calvery will take up a senior role at , Reuters reportedApril 26, citing sources. One of the sources said she will hold a senior rolein fighting global financial crime.

Calvery's resignation will take effect May 27, Reuters said,noting that it is unclear when she will start at HSBC.
