Bank of Astana JSC completed its public offering on the Moscow Exchange, with trading in the shares launched Dec. 14, the lender said the same day.
Some 2,881,835 shares of the bank were placed during the Moscow Exchange offering at a price of 215 rubles per share. The shares opened trading at 234.95 rubles apiece.
The main goal of the Russian public offering was to attract international capital and diversify funding, the lender noted. Freedom Finance acted as a market maker during the offering.
Bank of Astana carried out an IPO on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange in June, raising around $25 million.
As of Dec. 14, US$1 was equivalent to 58.83 Russian rubles.
