Moody's pulls ratings on Banco del Tucumán following merger

Moody's on Oct. 23 withdrew all of its ratings on Argentina's Banco del Tucumán SA in the wake of that bank's merger into Banco Macro SA.

The ratings, which included a Caa2 global scale long-term bank deposit rating and B1.ar national scale long-term bank deposit rating, were under review at the time of withdrawal, the rating agency noted.

Banco Macro completed its acquisition of Banco del Tucumán on Oct. 15, resulting in the dissolution of the latter as a separate legal entity.
