Nexstar eliminates chief revenue officer position

Nexstar Media Group Inc. eliminated the position of chief revenue officer, transferring the responsibilities into its broadcasting and digital operations.

As part of the transfer, Thomas O'Brien resigned as Nexstar's executive vice president, business development and chief revenue officer, effective July 31. O'Brien was appointed to the posts in November 2013. Before joining Nexstar, O'Brien was chief revenue officer for CNBC.
