French automotive parts manufacturer Faurecia said March 16 that it invested an undisclosed amount in French startup Enogia.
Enogia created and patented a high-speed turbine that recovers heat and converts it into electricity. Faurecia added that the investment can help the startup grow since its technology can be used for commercial vehicles, trucks and engines with high horsepower.
"Enogia's technology enables Faurecia to expand its portfolio of energy recovery solutions," Yves Dumoulin, vice president of strategy at Faurecia clean mobility, said.
