TTFB Q2 profit climbs 29.4% YOY

TTFB Co. Ltd. said its second-quarter normalized net income amounted to NT$2.72 per share, an increase of 29.4% from NT$2.11 per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$63.4 million, an increase of 29.4% from NT$49.0 million in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin increased to 7.5% from 7.0% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose 21.5% on an annual basis to NT$850.8 million from NT$700.3 million, and total operating expenses rose 20.0% on an annual basis to NT$752.0 million from NT$626.5 million.

Reported net income rose 27.2% on an annual basis to NT$82.9 million, or NT$3.56 per share, from NT$65.2 million, or NT$2.80 per share.

As of Aug. 6, US$1 was equivalent to NT$31.63.
