Solar Alliance completes sale of wind assets to Concord Green Energy

Solar Alliance Energy Inc. completed the sale of certain wind assets in British Columbia to Concord Green Energy for C$1.4 million, according to a Dec. 14 release.

The transaction involved the planned 60-MW Bullmoose wind project, a 15% interest in the advanced stage 77.4-MW Wildmare project and a 100% interest in other assorted development stage wind assets in British Columbia.

Solar Alliance shareholders approved the plan of arrangement at the Dec. 4 annual and special meeting. Under the arrangement, common shares, options, warrants and rights convertible into shares of Solar Alliance held by its securityholders have been cancelled and exchanged for equivalent securities of new Solar Alliance Energy Inc.

Those shares will trade on the TSX Venture Exchange under the ticker symbol SOLR.
