Australia's Capitol Health Ltd., which operates diagnostic imaging facilities, completed its previously announced acquisition of Radiology Tasmania Pty Ltd.

Capitol Health agreed to pay A$24.2 million to acquire the radiology group, which comprises five clinics in Tasmania's Greater Hobart and Launceston regions.

Radiology Tasmania is expected to contribute A$14.4 million in 2018 revenue to Capitol Health which said the acquisition expands its network and service offering.

"This growth strategy strengthens Capitol's position and complements our standing offer to Integral Diagnostics which would see us bring together two complementary networks to create a new force in diagnostics in Australia," Capitol Health Managing Director Andrew Harrison said in a news release, referencing the company's takeover bid for Integral Diagnostics Ltd.
