American Securities closes $7B PE fund

Private equity firm American Securities LLC closed American Securities Partners VIII LP with total capital commitments of $7 billion.

The company closed the fund above the $6 billion target and at the hard cap it established in October 2017. It invests in North American companies with annual revenues ranging from $200 million to $2 billion and/or $50 million to $250 million of EBITDA.
