Krypton Industries Ltd said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30 was 10 Indian paise per share, a gain of 29.3% from 8 paise per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 1.5 million rupees, an increase of 32.6% from 1.1 million rupees in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin increased to 1.4% from 1.2% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 14.6% on an annual basis to 103.4 million rupees from 90.3 million rupees, and total operating expenses rose 13.3% year over year to 96.6 million rupees from 85.3 million rupees.
Reported net income grew 92.4% from the prior-year period to 2.2 million rupees, or 15 paise per share, from 1.2 million rupees, or 8 paise per share.
