Independence Gold commits C$2M to Canadian exploration

Canadian explorer Independence Gold Corp. said May 31 that it has approved a C$2 million exploration budget for its Yukon Territory projects.

Exploration, which is due to start in early June, will include drill testing the wholly owned Boulevard project and geochemical sampling on several of its Yukon Territory properties and other property acquisitions.

Independence plans to complete about 2,500 meters of drilling to further evaluate the Denali, Sunset and Sunrise zones and to test new targets identified in a detailed sampling program.
