Honeywell International Inc. named Alessandro Gili, the former finance chief at Italian automaker Ferrari NV as the new CFO of its transportation systems business ahead of the company's planned spinoff of the unit.
Gili became Ferrari's CFO in 2015. Before that, he worked as vice president, corporate controller, and chief accounting officer for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV from 2011 to 2015. Gili will take up his new post June 1.
Honeywell last year announced that it would separate the transportation business, along with its homes and ADI global distribution operations, into two separate, publicly traded entities. The company earlier this month said Olivier Rabiller will remain as president and CEO for the transportation systems spinoff. The split is scheduled for the end of the third quarter.
Ferrari said May 18 that Antonio Piccon would replace Gili as its CFO.
