Amazon expands San Diego office to accommodate 300 new tech staff

Amazon.com Inc. said Sept. 5 that it expanded its San Diego Tech Hub to accommodate 300 new high-tech jobs.

The Seattle-based e-commerce firm opened a new, 85,000-square-foot facility in San Diego's University Town Center neighborhood to allow it to double its tech staff in the city.

New jobs at the tech hub will include positions in software development, machine learning, cloud computing and digital entertainment.
