Ohio's one-year ban on business with Wells Fargo & Co. just got a six-month extension.
The San Francisco-based company, which continues to address the fake accounts scandal made public in September 2016, "has not yet regained the public's confidence," Reuters reported, quoting Ohio Gov. John Kasich. The governor said he was "willing to revisit" the issue in April 2018.
Wells Fargo on Oct. 13 reported third-quarter EPS of 84 cents, down from the year-ago figure of $1.03. The recent quarter's results included a $1 billion litigation accrual.
