Australian Mines expands scope of cobalt-scandium mineralization at Flemington

Australian Mines Ltd. said Aug. 11 that resource drilling at its Flemington project in New South Wales tripled the scandium mineralization footprint and doubled the cobalt mineralization footprint.

Significant cobalt intercepts include 5 meters grading 3,152 parts per million from a depth of 4 meters and 8 meters grading 3,017 ppm from 5 meters.

Notable scandium intercepts include 21 meters grading 577 ppm, 16 meters grading 556 ppm and 14 meters grading 600 ppm, all from surface.

The company reported that mineralization remains open in all directions and its drill efforts have demonstrated that the Flemington and Syerston deposits are parts of the same mineralized body.

Australian Mines plans to post an initial cobalt resource estimate and an upgraded scandium resource estimate within six weeks.
