Private equity firm Ardian is about to launch the sale of d&b audiotechnik GmbH & Co. KG, Reuters reported, citing people close to the matter.
The deal may value the German loudspeaker maker at over €600 million, according to the newswire.
Ardian is expected to shortly mandate an adviser to help with the sale, the report said.
D&B audiotechnik makes speakers for concert halls, stadiums, sport venues, bars and conference halls. Ardian bought the firm in 2016.
Its competitors include KKR & Co.-backed Pioneer DJ, which is also up for sale, Reuters said, citing media reports, and Astorg Partners-owned Audiotonix.
