Eversource wins FERC approval to sell 9 hydrofacilities

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has approved a request by Public Service Co. of New Hampshire to sell nine hydroelectric generating facilities totaling 63.1 MW to a subsidiary of private equity firm Hull Street Energy LLC and its affiliates.

Under the deal valued at $83 million, HSE Hydro NH AC LLC will acquire the 16.8-MW Amoskeag, 8.4-MW Ayers Island, 1.1-MW Canaan, 5.6-MW Eastman Falls, 12.3-MW Garvins Falls, 2.0-MW Gorham, 1.6-MW Hooksett, 3.6-MW Jackman and 11.7-MW Smith facilities.

Public Service Co. of New Hampshire is a subsidiary of Eversource Energy. (FERC docket EC18-42)
