Southwestern Energy Co. appointed Julian Bott as its CFO, effective March 5. Bott will also hold the position of executive vice president. He most recently served SandRidge Energy as its CFO.

The company's interim CFO, Jennifer Stewart, will become senior vice president of government and regulatory affairs.

Michael Hancock was named vice president of financial planning and analysis. Paige Penchas will succeed Hancock as vice president of investor relations. She recently served as executive vice president at the Abernathy MacGregor Group.

Southwestern is an oil and gas driller with operations in Appalachia and in the Fayetteville Shale in Arkansas.
