Foresight Group buys 14.4-MW wind farm in UK from Enertrag

Foresight Group LLP on Sept. 3 said it acquired a 14.4-MW wind farm in the U.K. from German renewables company Enertrag.

With the addition of the North Pickenham facility, Foresight has acquired a total generating capacity of 102 MW in the past 12 months, according to a company news release.

The wind farm in Norfolk, England, started operation in 2006. It consists of eight wind turbines and with a long-term, full-service operating and maintenance agreement with Vestas Wind Systems A/S.

Foresight said it is looking to explore more acquisition opportunities, both domestic and international, over the next six to 12 months.
