Andrew Peller fiscal Q3 profit falls YOY

Andrew Peller Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, was 12 Canadian cents per share, a decrease from 12 cents per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was C$5.2 million, a decline from C$5.3 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin declined to 5.7% from 6.5% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose on an annual basis to C$84.6 million from C$81.9 million, and total operating expenses climbed year over year to C$75.1 million from C$72.4 million.

Reported net income fell year over year to C$5.8 million, or 13 cents per share, from C$6.0 million, or 14 cents per share.
