Topre fiscal Q3 profit climbs YOY

Topre Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, was ¥51.09 per share, a decline from ¥51.75 per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥2.69 billion, an increase from ¥2.59 billion in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin increased to 9.7% from 9.2% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue declined on an annual basis to ¥27.77 billion from ¥28.17 billion, and total operating expenses grew on an annual basis to ¥25.30 billion from ¥24.77 billion.

Reported net income rose 11.5% on an annual basis to ¥2.69 billion, or ¥51.10 per share, from ¥2.41 billion, or ¥48.08 per share.

As of Feb. 6, US$1 was equivalent to ¥119.01.
