Leeds Group fiscal H1 profit climbs 5.5% YOY

Leeds Group PLC said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Nov. 30, 2014, came to 2 Great British pence per share, an increase of 5.8% from 2 pence per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was £643,130, an increase of 5.5% from £609,380 in the prior-year period.

Total revenue totaled £18.6 million, compared with £18.5 million in the prior-year period, and total operating expenses totaled £17.5 million, compared with £17.4 million in the prior-year period.

Reported net income increased 7.8% on an annual basis to £701,000, or 3 pence per share, from £650,000, or 2 pence per share.
