Uniserve Communications Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Nov. 30, 2015, came to a loss of 3 Canadian cents per share, compared with a loss of 4 cents per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of C$265,470, compared with a loss of C$164,320 in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin dropped to negative 17.1% from negative 10.4% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue fell on an annual basis to C$1.6 million from C$1.6 million, and total operating expenses climbed 10.0% on an annual basis to C$1.8 million from C$1.7 million.
Reported net income came to a loss of C$424,750, or a loss of 4 cents per share, compared to a loss of C$262,910, or a loss of 7 cents per share, in the prior-year period.
