Pulmuone Q3 profit falls YOY

Pulmuone Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the third quarter amounted to 1,515.62 South Korean won per share, a decline from 1,558.50 won per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 5.64 billion won, a decrease from 5.80 billion won in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin fell to 1.2% from 1.3% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue increased 7.2% year over year to 479.80 billion won from 447.43 billion won, and total operating expenses climbed 7.9% on an annual basis to 473.56 billion won from 438.70 billion won.

Reported net income declined 30.5% from the prior-year period to 3.11 billion won, or 835.85 won per share, from 4.48 billion won, or 1,203.00 won per share.

As of Nov. 16, US$1 was equivalent to 1,172.80 South Korean won.
