Publicis posts 1.3% organic growth in Q3, to divest health services unit

French advertising company Publicis Groupe SA reported a 5.4% year-over-year decrease in net revenue for the first nine months of the year and said it has decided to divest its Publicis Health Services business following a strategic review.

The company reported net revenue of €2.20 billion in the third quarter of 2018, up 0.5% from €2.19 billion in the same quarter last year. Organic revenue growth was 1.3% for the quarter, with positive organic growth in all regions except North America.

Excluding Publicis Health Services, organic revenue growth reached 2.2%. The company's health business reported a decline in net revenue over the first nine months of the year, mainly in its outsourcing business.
