Julius Bär shuffles regional heads, names new CFO for Asia

Zurich-based Julius Bär Gruppe AG made changes to its regional executive ranks, including the appointment of Cedric Heri as CFO of its Asian operations, Finews Asia reported July 3, citing a spokesman for the company.

The spokesman confirmed that Heri's appointment will take effect in October.

Tobias Murer, COO of Hong Kong and deputy COO of Asia, will move to Switzerland to take over Heri's current role as chief of staff of the firm.

Meanwhile, Benjamin Sim, head of business management for China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, will replace Murer in Hong Kong.

Frank Keller, CFO of Asia, will become head of business development for Japan, emerging Asia and intermediaries, which are currently overseen by private banker Angela Bow.
