FMC Corp. on May 21 made further appointments prior to its US$500 million planned IPO of its lithium business.

FMC Agricultural Solutions President Mark Douglas was appointed the company's president and COO.

FMC named Global Director of Research and Development Kathy Shelton as vice president and chief technology officer and appointed Global Director of Global Portfolio Strategy and Management Diane Allemang as vice president and chief marketing officer.

The appointments are effective June 1.
