RWE starts operations at 100-MW solar farm in Texas

RWE AG started commercial operations at its 100-MW West of the Pecos Solar Project in Reeves County, Texas.

The project hosts 350,000 solar modules and sells half of its output to SK E&S Co. Ltd. under a long-term power purchase agreement.

The German utility also secured tax equity investment from an undisclosed investors in exchange for a partial stake in the project, according to a Jan. 6 news release.
