OceanFirst Bank named Joseph Lebel III chief banking officer, NJBIZ reported Feb. 1.

Lebel became chief lending officer in 2007 and executive vice president in 2013 at the Toms River, N.J.-based bank, which he joined in 2006.

In addition, the OceanFirst Financial Corp. unit promoted George Destafney and Vincent D'Alessandro to regional presidents who will lead Central Jersey and South Jersey, respectively.

Destafney has been a senior vice president and senior relationship manager at the bank since 2013. D'Alessandro joined the bank in 2008, and was named senior vice president and commercial team leader in 2013.
