Curaleaf's acquisition of 2 Nev. dispensaries cleared by regulators

Curaleaf Holdings Inc., a U.S. cannabis operator, has received regulatory approval to complete its acquisition of the retail assets of Acres Cannabis.

The Wakefield, Mass.-based Curaleaf will acquire a dispensary in Las Vegas and a dispensary in Ely, Nev., according to a Dec. 19 press release from Curaleaf. Both companies agreed to close the deal Jan. 1, 2020.

The Ely location is projected to be completed in the second quarter of 2020, according to the press release.
