Georgetown University Alumni & Student FCU places CEO on indefinite leave

Georgetown University Alumni & Student FCU CEO Kuran Malhotra was placed on an indefinite leave of absence, Georgetown University's student newspaper The Hoya reported.

Malhotra was also placed on leave from his position as CFO of the Hilltop Microfinance Initiative.

Malhotra is an undergraduate student at Georgetown University. Georgetown University Alumni & Student FCU is entirely run by students, according to the credit union's website.

Malhotra's suspension comes amid allegations that he created a toxic work environment and engaged in inappropriate touching in social settings, according to the newspaper. Malhotra had not responded to The Hoya's requests for comment on the allegations at the time of publication.
