Amiyaki Tei Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, amounted to ¥66.44 per share, an increase of 16.7% from ¥56.95 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥455.0 million, a gain of 16.7% from ¥390.0 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin declined to 6.3% from 6.4% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue grew 17.5% on an annual basis to ¥7.20 billion from ¥6.13 billion, and total operating expenses increased 17.7% year over year to ¥6.50 billion from ¥5.52 billion.
Reported net income rose 39.3% year over year to ¥468.0 million, or ¥68.34 per share, from ¥336.0 million, or ¥49.07 per share.
As of Feb. 13, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.68.
