B&C Speakers Q3 profit climbs 69.0% YOY

B&C Speakers SpA said its normalized net income for the third quarter was 14 euro cents per share, a gain of 73.7% from 8 cents per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was €1.6 million, an increase of 69.0% from €963,010 in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 16.5% from 11.1% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue increased 13.5% on an annual basis to €9.9 million from €8.7 million, and total operating expenses rose 6.4% year over year to €7.4 million from €6.9 million.

Reported net income increased 82.5% from the prior-year period to €1.6 million, or 14 cents per share, from €887,770, or 7 cents per share.
