King's Town Commercial Bank Co. Ltd. is absorbing two wholly owned units to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.

The bank will merge Tainan Life Insurance Agent Co. Ltd. and Fu Chen Property Insurance Agent Co. Ltd. into itself. It has temporarily set June 3 as the effective date of the merger.

The bank said the merger will expand its customer services scope, strengthen customer protection and integrate resources within the group's business.
