Pillsbury law firm to expand project finance team

Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP is planning hires across its energy and infrastructure projects practice, a partner at the law firm told S&P Global Market Intelligence.

Mona Dajani, a partner at the firm and co-leader of the energy and infrastructure projects team who joined from Baker McKenzie in January, said Pillsbury is planning on growing the team and is actively seeking project finance attorneys at all levels for four of its offices.

In the coming months, the firm will be hiring project finance lawyers in its offices in New York, London, Washington and Tokyo, according to Dajani, who is based in New York and is also licensed in the U.K. as a registered foreign lawyer. Dajani's fellow co-head, Robert James, is based in San Francisco.

Several Pillsbury lawyers, including Todd Eckland, Catherine Hood and J. Anthony Terrell, moved to rival law firm Bracewell LLP in 2019.
